Sarbinowo, a village with about 500 permanent residents, is a typical summer resort. The village dates back to 1309 A.D. Long ago it was situated 1.5km away from the shore. Now. Sarbinowo lies at the very coast of the Baltic Sea. Before the First World War Sarbinowo was threatened to be washed away; in 1910 a 1km long stone and concrete retaining wall was built, which stopped the destructive action of the sea. A main tourist attraction of the village is the church built in 1856 with its high octagonal tower. Also worthy of notice are the new stained-glass panels in its ogival windows. A further attraction is the historic, narrow-front fisherman’s cottage from 1804 A.D with its oak framed construction walls and thatched roof.

There is a pharmacy, health centre and post office in Sarbinowo. You'll find cash machines in the village and bank branches in nearby Bedzin and Mielno. The latter, located at a distance of 7km is a centre of entertainment. Mielno is connected with Sarbinowo by bicycle forest path via Chlopy, a characteristic fisherman's village with a very active fishing harbour offering fresh fish daily. A short distance away from Sarbinowo lies Gaski, a summer seaside resort with its lighthouse open to tourists.

Sarbinowo is linked conveniently by bus and minibuses with Koszalin, where you will find the closest train station (approximately 20km).
The closest airport is in Goleniowo (approximately 110km from Sarbinowo), petrol stations can be found in both Bedzin and Mielno.
